Default Table Position on page relative to footer

Glad I could help.

And, yes, a footer with "too much" text in it will expand, pushing the
page contents upwards, but it won't actually change the bottom margin.
If footers are big through-out the document (or section), consider
increasing the bottom margin.

yes, it does work. what wasn't obvious (to me, or anyone here at the

office)
is that the bottom margin setting doesn't accommodate any footer

appearing
on
that page, so the table was superimposed on the footer.
