Table grid lines
If they are gridlines, then from the Tables menu, select Hide Gridlines. If
they are borders, place the selection in the table and then hold down the
Ctrl and the Alt keys and press u.

Table Grid. Go to Table | Insert Table and then Autoformat. Scroll down
the
list until you see Table Normal. You may want to set this as the default
too.
