Hi Sue,

Are the spaces present when you're working in 'page layout' view? If so, they're probably caused by an empty line or paragraph in
the column, or a paragraph formatted with extra space before and/or after - check the paragraphs either side of the space.

In the printed version, are any records missing? If so, the corresponding entries have probably been formatted as hidden text.
