Default Labels with more than one excel record per label

Hi ?B?c3VzYW5i?=,

I need to create family membership cards consisting of family header
information and individual family members details. They will be printed onto
preset card sheets similar to label sheets. The source is an excel
spreadsheet with one record per family member. is there a way of doing this?

There's no simple, easy way, no.

In the Special Merges section of my website's Mail Merge FAQ you'll find a
discussion on how to handle complex merges of this type (one-to-many). None of
the approaches suggested, except the VBA one, will really work for labels that
are set up in a table, though.

Possibly, you could get the Database field approach to work if you substituted
Frames (from the Forms toolbar) for the table cells that make up a label sheet.
Tricky to get it set up, but doable. This would also mean needing to split up
the spreadsheet (or better, make copies so you still have the original) into
two separate sheets: one containing the family header information, with a "key
field" (like an ID number) that links that to the individual listings.
