Default Disable header & footer on multiple pages

Terrie -

When you are typing you are creating additional pages in the same
section. So you need to make sure that Section 1 has "Different First
Page" set and then the second page header is the way you want it. That's
why I suggested that you use a Manual page break rather than section
breaks.

I can't get that to work...... I created page one with a header and footer.
I added Section 2, Section 3, Section 4 so on the screen when I call up that
document, it shows page one with the header and footer and then nothing on
pages 2,3,4. But as you start to type on page one and fill that page, when
it rolls to page 2, it repeats the header / footer from page one. I do not
have Section 2 linked to previous and I selected new page and from this
section foward. Then I linked Section 3 to previous and Section 4 to
previous.
