Two documents to be printed side-by-side, or a single document with a two-columns-per-page layout?
In either case, start off by creating a document with the page format set to A3 Landscape (you'll probably need to use an A3-capable
printer driver before Word will allow you to do this - eg, select your A3 printer). Then for:
.. two documents, create a two-column by 1 row table, then paste the contents of one document into the left cell and the contents of
the other document into the right cell. You may have to play with the table layout a bit if you want to replicate the appearance of
the original A4 margins.
.. a single document, format it with a two-column layout, then paste the contents of the source document into it. You may have to
