A custom dictionary is just a text file. If you create a list of the Words
in Word, one word to a paragraph, in alpha order, you can copy/paste that
into your new custom dictionary. But I don't know of any way to have Words
that are not in this dictionary marked as misspellings (short of creating an
exclusion dictionary that includes every other word in Word's main lexicon).
Sorry.

Hi,

I would like to create a special custom dictionary in Word 2002. This
special dictionary will comprise 1000 words and when I use this
dictionary to check spellings, any word that is not included in my 1000
words in this special custom dictionary must be flagged as a
misspelling.

I have tried to create this special custom dictionary, but it picks up
words from a database elsewhere (therefore, it does not flag words that
are not in my preferred list of 1000 words as being misspellings). I
want to make sure that when I spell check my documents, I have only
used words from my preferred list of 1000 words.

When I try to create a custom dictionary, I can only add one word at a
time. I would like to add my 1000 words in one operation.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks and kindest regards,

Stan
