Default Mail Merge conditionally formatted cell values

IMO the only way you can get a cell across in its formatted starte is to
use a LINK field, and LINK fields don't really work with merges in the
way you might hope.

If the same data that you use to specify the condition come through in
the merge, you might be able to use a Word IF field to apply some of the
formatting you require, using the same logic that you use in your
formatting conditions. If they don't come through I guess you'd have to
add columns to ensure that they did.

Maybe a case for creating your documents using VBA and automation rather
than mailmerge?

Hi All,
Has anyone managed to merge a cell value and its conditionally
formatted colour from Excel to Word. It's simple to merge the data
value but the conditionally formatted colour doesn't appear in the
merge?? any help, advice would really be appreciated.
Thanks
