You need to reset your Normal template to single column, either by editing
the template, or by renaming it so that Word creates a fresh default one.

Whenever i start word in office 2003 i get two columns on the sheet. You
have
to change it to a single column everytime. How do i reset it so that when
it
starts it starts with no columns at all?
