I too have this model - without problems, but my handbook
gives two help lines:
(A)On your desktop click start programs Lexmark X5100
series Lexmark X5100 series Solution Centre. (This
might be a link to item (B) which would therefore need a
net connection.
(B) Go direct to; http://support.lexmark.com
