Default Why does Word try to connect to the internet?

If you're using Word 2002 or 2003, it's trying to connect you to
Office Online so you can get additional help topics, clip art,
templates, etc.

If you don't want that, turn it off. Press F1 to open the Help task
pane. At the bottom, click "Online Content Settings". In the dialog,
uncheck "Show content and links from Microsoft Office Online". Also
click the Customer Feedback category on the left and select the option
not to participate.

I open a word doc I created to add text and Norton tells me (this stops

registered
to me. Thanks.
