Default Address Book not accesible

The system does not think that Outlook Express is the default mail program.
What it is telling you is that it is (the full version of) Outlook that must
be the default mail program to be able to make use of the Address Book
facility. Outlook and Outlook Express are two different mail programs and
Outlook Express was replaced by Windows Mail in Vista.

In windows mail - tools - options -general tab, the section default
messaging programs. the lfirst line says" This program is the default mail
handler" the make default button next to this is greyed out, and cannot
be
activated. so why does the system think outlook express is tyhe default,
and
how do I change it?

And Windows Mail is NOT Outlook, is it? There's your answer right in front
of you.
