You can only use the modify button for macros added to the QAT. There is
a more complicated way of changing MS icons for buttons, but for that
you'd have to use RibbonX.
My add-in will offer this feature eventually, but it's going to take a
while longer till I have this implemented.

Is there any way to change the icon of a command that has been added to the
Quick Access Toolbar? The "close" icon and "close all" icons are exactly the
