Default Regarding page numbering

As with anything concerning Sections, you MUST begin at the very beginning. Set your page numbering in your first and second sections to not be there at
all.

This is very important: before you do anything else, set the Header(s) (and
Footer(s)) NOT to be "Same as Previous." Then insert your page number and set the starting value at 1.

Putting an empty section in front of your title page means the title page is on the back of the leaf / on the left side of the two-page spread. Is that
really what you want?

I have set up my document like this: Sec. I is a blank page which I don't want numbered; Section II is a title page, which I don't want numbered, Section III is my first page that I want numbered. Each time that I try to number, beginning with page 3 (as page 1), it numbers the preceding pages as well, and I don't want this. How do I number beginning with page three w/o numbering the preceding pages? Thanks in advance.
