1. Check Windows regional settings to ensure that your keyboard language
matches the keyboard that are you are using.
2. Jumping around can be attributable to voice recognition software, but
mnore usually it is caused by an over sensitive touch pad. Keep your hands
away from the laptop's touch pad while you are typing, or turn it off and
use a mouse and don't bang so hard on the keys.
