Default Hanging indent, indenting all lines!

Find the "Format Paragraph" pane. (If you have a Ribbon, it's the tiny
arrow at the lower right corner of the "Paragraph" group on the Home
tab.)

On the Indents and Spacing tab, the second bunch of stuff is called
"Indentation." In the middle is a menu called "Special." From it,
choose "Hanging," and say how much you want it to be indented from the
first line of the paragraph. (The indentation of the first line of the
paragraph is set by the number to the left labeled "Before text.")

If you want a Style to have a hanging indent, you'll find exactly the
same panel inside the Style panel, under Format Paragraph.

Somehow I messed up my hanging indent and now all lines are are
indenting when I only want the second and succeeding lines indented. Can
someone tell me how to fix this.
