Default Older Documents

Do the documents show up on the "Computer" list of the appropriate drive
and directory?

I confess there is something I really don't understand about your
description of how you changed your computer from XP to Vista. Did you
install Vista as an upgrade over XP or was it a fresh install?

I cannot open any dowcument using office 2003 because keep getting a
error
message stating the "this action is only valid with products that are
installed." 2003 was install ed on xp and was backed up on the HD.
When I
try to open the documents using MS 2007 the docs do not show up in the
available list.
