Hi Sharon

The problem is almost certainly caused by a not-very-helpful use of styles
in the souce document.

There's more information at:
Why does text change format when I copy it into another document?
http://www.ShaunaKelly.com/word/styl...xtChanges.html

The usual solution to this problem is to use Edit Paste Special and paste
into your document as unformatted text. However, if you do this in your
context, you will lose the table structure. So you will have to select what
you pasted and choose Table Convert Text to Table to get the table
structure back.

Alternatively, you can:
1. Remove the numbering from the styles in the recipient document. To do
that, follow the steps at
How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in your Microsoft Word
document
http://www.ShaunaKelly.com/word/numb...Numbering.html

2. Change the styles used in the source document.

3. Change the styles in the destination docment after you've pasted.

Hope this helps.

There is regular text to the left of the table, i.e., asdlfjkas . . ..
The
A. and B. First Line of Title and Second Line of Title is the actual table
insert. I tried text wrapping and everything else I could think of.

Yet, when I insert the same document into a blank document, the outline
feature doesn't happen. This led me to believe that somewhere in the
current
document the outline feature is turned on. I looked everywhere!!! The
only
place that I see the outline feature turned on is in the table and the
selection is grayed out so I can't change it it to body text. HELP! The
table has
