Default Even pages header area dissappeared from one section only

Is this on the first page of the section? If so, check if the "Different
first page" option has been checked for the section. If it is, clear it.
Your header should come back.

If the above doesn't help, note that header (and footer) contents can be
unlinked to that of the previous section (which allows you to enter
separate contents for it). In Word 2003, see if the Same as Previous /
Link to Previous option has been turned off for the section in question.
You'll find the option on the Header and Footer toolbar (click Header
and Footer on the View menu to see it).

Note that Same as Previous applies to each *type* of header (footer):
first page, odd, and even. For more, see
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm.

The document layout is "different odd and even" page headers. In all

sections
but that one the even and odd page headers appear OK.
Where in the section layout can I make a change to force the header

area to
re-appear? (it has nothing to do with white spaces between pages and

I'm in
print layout obviously)
