In Windows 2000 and above, you can probably create custom paper sizes in
your printer Properties. If not, if you have Word 2000 or above, you can
print 2 pages per sheet. The "2 pages per sheet" setting you want is the one
in Page Setup, not the one in the Print dialog (which shrinks large pages to
half-page size).

Hi,
I was looking there but because there were no such options (except custom
size) I tabled the question. If my printer (HP LaserJet 6L) does not

support
these sizes directly I was hoping that Word might have some facility to

use
say standard A4 and allow splitting it into several segments to which I
could write text and then cut it out to pages.

File, Page Setup and select A5 or whatever size you want that your

printer
will support. You can even get Filofax and other specialised blank
stationery: if your printer doesn't have a setting for this, use Custom

Size
and enter the correct dimensions.

:I would like to write notes so that I can have smaller than A4 paper

pages,
: such as A5 or smaller size directly suitable for a Filofax or Time
Manager.
: What would be the easiest way to achieve this.
