Default how to conditional format in a Word table

Thanks macropod

Didn't enjoy working with switches - not reall a Word specialist. However,
I am going to type my Word template out into a spreadsheet and then write a
macro to copy the data from the spreadsheet into this template. It works on
a simple test that I did - but whether it works on 300 lines of data
remains to be seen.

Cheers

Hi 'Under Pressure',

If the values you're referring to are numbers, you could use a numeric picture switch to change the colours and other attributes of
the fonts, and the background colours for the values themselves. Not what you're asking for, but it might suit your needs. To see
how, check out my Word Field Maths 'tutorial', at:

or
http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm#Third_party
In particular, look at the item titled 'Formatting Numeric Field Results'

I can do a mail-merge but I need to be able to colour the background of cells
according to the values placed in them. No problems in Excel, but Word?
