Default Line spacing in MS WORD 2007

The normal style in 2007 has paragraph spacing set to add extra space on a
return. That's why it looks like double spacing. There is also a style called
no space which is what it says - no extra space. You can use this to get the
single space style or have a look in the paragraph spacing and change the
setting to 0. Hope this helps.

I have the trial version of WORD 2007, and the line spacing is
markedly different from the previous version. The lines appear to be
at least double-spaced, and when WORD 2003 documents are opened in
2007, the spacing is changed automatically. I have used the F1/Help
feature, but selecting single spacing is to no avail. "Single space"
clearly means "double space" now.

Any suggestions?
