Default Default picture format to "inline with text"

If you have Word 2002 or above, this option is on the Edit tab of Tools |
Options.

Is there any way to make "inline with text" the default format for

inserting
pictures? Every time I insert a picture into a word document, I have to
reformat the picture so that it doesn't float randomly about.

Reformating
takes 6 mouse clicks. On average I have to do this about 20 times every
working day or about 4000 times per year or about 60,000 times or 360,000
mouse clicks in the last 15 years since MicroSoft downgraded this feature.
It takes about 2 seconds each time which means that I have spent 33-1/3rd
hours doing this.
