Default Difference between editing and formatting text

Hi Demon,

if you change any character to another character,
then you are editing text.

If you change the appearance of any character,
like bold, size, color, underline, subscript,
then you are formatting text.

Some people may say, that replacing m2 by mē
is editing, too, and I'd agree with them.
