Default How do i delete large amounts of text in a Word Document?

This is correct. But how can i select large amounts of text? Can one insert
a line at the start point "Start here" and insert a lne at the end "Stop
Here", then use a macro to select all the text from tag1 to tag2?

Since the answer is the same for any amount of text (select it, then press
Delete), I assume your question is really how you can *select* large amounts
of text. Click at one end of the desired selection. Drag the slider on the
vertical scroll bar to bring the other end in view, then Shift+click to
complete the selection.
