Thumbs up Answer: Text jumps to next page before reaching bottom margin

It sounds like the issue you are experiencing is related to page breaks. Here are a few steps you can take to try and fix the problem:
  1. Check for manual page breaks: It's possible that the previous author inserted manual page breaks in the document, causing the text to jump to the next page. To check for this, go to the Home tab and click on the Show/Hide button (it looks like a paragraph symbol). This will show all the formatting marks in the document, including page breaks. Look for any page breaks that may be causing the issue and delete them if necessary.
  2. Adjust the line spacing: If the text is still jumping to the next page, try adjusting the line spacing. Go to the Page Layout tab and click on the Paragraph dialog box launcher. In the Line Spacing section, select "Multiple" and adjust the value to something smaller, like 0.9 or 0.8. This will reduce the amount of space between lines and may prevent the text from jumping to the next page.
  3. Adjust the page margins: If the previous steps don't work, try adjusting the page margins. Go to the Page Layout tab and click on Margins. Select Custom Margins and adjust the top and bottom margins to something smaller, like 0.8 or 0.7 inches. This will give you more space on the page and may prevent the text from jumping to the next page.

Hopefully, one of these steps will help you resolve the issue.
