It looks like Telenet has recently
migrated their newsservers. This means that if you want to continue using Telenet's newsgroup service, you'll need to make a small change to the settings in your newsreader.
Here are the
- Open your newsreader and navigate to the settings menu.
- Look for the section that deals with newsservers.
- Find the field that contains the address of the newsserver and change it from either news.telenet.be or newsbin.telenet.be to newsgroups.telenet.be.
- Make sure to disable authentication for this newsserver.
- Save your changes and restart your newsreader.
That's it! You should now be able to continue using Telenet's newsgroup service without any issues.
