Using paragraph format 'Keep with next' did the trick.
Many thanks, Dick W.

Two things to try:

1. Set up the merge fields in the cell(s) of a one row table (without
borders if desired) and set the Table properties so that the Rows do not
break across pages

2. Format the paragraphs in which the mergefields are located as Keep
with next (other than for the final paragraph, or if you have all of the
mergefields in a single paragraph, format it so that the lines are Kept
together.

I think both of these approaches should work.

I am importing address information from an Access query to a mail merge
directory. The data is slightly variable in length and there are
generally
six records to a page. How do I force a new page when a record is going
to
be split between two pages?
