If the table is insisting on being on one page despite enabling row breaking
and disabling "Keep with next" (that is, if it extends off the page in Print
Layout view), then the likelihood is that it has become wrapped. Go to the
Table tab of Table Properties and set wrapping to None.

I have a table in the middle of my document. It used to fit on a page
that had other text above and below it. When I finish typing in a row
I hit the tab button on my keyboard to create a new row. Eventually
the table grew so big that it no longer fit on the page and it moved to
its own page by itself. Now it's growing so large that it's bigger
than the page.

What I want it to do instead is to start on the previous page and as it
grows the news rows should start on the next page instead of the whole
table trying to fit on one page. How do I do this?

I've tried the following options and none of them work:
Table Properties: Allow row to break across pages
Paragraph Line and Page Breaks: Keep with next, Page break before, Keep
lines together.
