Assuming you have a printer capable of printing A3 and Word 2000 or later,
choose "2 pages per sheet" for "Multiple pages" in the Page Setup dialog
(not in the Print dialog), with orientation set to Landscape. This will give
you two A4 portrait pages on one A3 landscape page. Paste your two documents
in accordingly.
