This is a "strange but true" story...

There is a folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP
installed by Office 2003, and any template placed in that folder will be
automatically loaded when Word starts. But that location is NOT "trusted" in
the sense used by the dialog.

If you find any .dot files in that location, move them to the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Application
Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

which is trusted, and then restart Word. The message should be gone.

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...latesStore.htm for more
information about these locations.

I'm the customer. I did turn on Trust MS Sources, but I still get the
message. Anything else I can turn on? It stops after closing the red
X four times. Thanks.

G'day "pwindsor" ,

I am wondering whether setting Tools Macros Security Trusted
Sources trust installed add-ins might help here. Generically, 2003
likes to see signed templates, whose signatures have been trusted.

When my customer opens up MS Word 2003 she gets the following
message:

Macros in this project have been disabled. Please refer to the
online help or documentation to determine how to enable Macros.
My customer Macro setting are set for Low. Where else can I look
to turn on her Macro settings??
