Default How do I set up prompt to save when closing a Word document?

It can also be attributable to a surfeit of orphaned temporary files. This
happened to me recently when my PC lost its Bluetooth connection to the
keyboard and I had to shut down the PC by switching off the power. When I
restarted, Word would not prompt to save documents, nor save changes to
normal.dot.
See http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm then if necessary

This should not require any special setup; it should be automatic. If
you are not being prompted to save a document that contains changes,
then very likely you are infected by a virus.

For some reason, Word isn't asking if I want to save the document
when I close it. I'd like it to prompt and ask if I'd like to save
the document or save the changes. Thanks for your help!!!
