If all other options suggested fail, you might try the following:

1. Go to the end of the document - (presumably the blank page).
2. If necessary, turn on Show/Hide paragraph marks.
3. If a paragraph mark is visible, select it and then change the font size
to a very small figure, such as 1 or 2.
I've found this method works when others sometimes don't.
