Default Frustrated - Forms were easy in Word 2003 not so much in 2007

Hi jlankar,

You can still create the same kinds of forms as before. First, make sure the 'Developer' tab is enabled (Word Options|Popular).
Then, from the 'Controls' panel, select 'Legacy Tools' - all the familiar formfields are there.

Our office switched everyone to 2007 without any warning and no training.
All the things I did with ease I now am pulling my hair out trying to find a
way to convert or redo them. I am normally a patient person but this has
pushed me to the edge. I even downloaded the trial at home so I could play
around with it. I am having most of my problem with letters I had set up
using the forms tool bar to insert text form fields. Protecting is another
story.

Is anyone else having these issues? Does anyone have any suggestions, in
plain English please. Word 2007 for dummies would be my speed. Why did it
have to change anyway?
