Where is the "Browse in same window" checkbox that is mentioned in
some other posts? *(Eg,
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...cmanagement/br...)

Is this in the various Office programs, or Vista, IE, or what?

When I add a hyperlink with bookmark using Ctrl-K, the target Word
file opens at the top, not to the bookmark. *(Actually, when the
hyperlink is in one Word file, the target file opens to the correct
place. *Same for Excel to Word. *The problem is when it's an Outlook
email message. *In that situation, the Word file opens at the top.)

Thanks.

In the thread you pointed to, look at John Blight's post on March 1, in which
he refers tohttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/2003826. In that article, you'll
find that the "Browse in same window" checkbox is only in Windows XP. *For
Vista or Windows 7, you're referred tohttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/927009
which contains a FixIt button (or, alternatively, instructions for editing the
registry).
