Default How do I stop blank line printing on a mail merged label?

Use an If...then...Else field construction in the mail merge main document

{ IF { MERGEFIELD Address2 } "" "{ MERGEFIELD Address2 }¶
{ MERGEFIELD Address3 }" "{ MERGEFIELD Address3 }" }

where you press the enter key where the pilcrow (¶) is located in the above
and you use Ctrl+F9 to insert each pair of field delimiters { } and Alt+F9
to toggle off their display

I am doing a label mail merge and have some blank address 2 lines and when
I
print the label there is a blank space that I would like to get rid of. I
know there was a way in the old mail merge versions, but I can't seem to
find
it in 2007.
