Default How can I use superscript in Microsoft Equation (3.0)?

Superscripts and subscripts are on the "Superscripts and subscripts" palette
on the Equation Editor toolbar. Insert the appropriate template for the
superscript and type it into the dotted box. It will be correctly formatted
automatically.

I constantly use Microsoft Equation 3.0 to write equations. But one

problem I
always encounter and I had never been able to figure out an answer is how

to
make a letter superscript. I believe I have explored every option that I

know
of. In the "size" selection, there are only subscript and sub-subsubscipt.
Where is the superscript?
Thanks for helping!
