Suggestion:
Understand that, for everyone else, Word is working ok.
When you have a problem, we need to 'see' in our mind's
eye exactly what you can see. So............

.....What version of Word?
.....What process do you use to open a Doc?
.........Do you run Word, then FileOpen?
.........Do you run Windows Explorer, and double-click a Doc?
.........or WHAT????????
.....When you do whatever it is that you do, exactly what happens?
