Default shaded mark up area

Hi Audrey,

Are you talking about the shaded area that is attached to the document page rather than the usual grey background of Print layout
view that is part of the zoom level you're working in?

Did you accept or reject the changes to incorporate them into the document, or only switch the Tracking preview to 'Final'? Do you
have 'balloons' turned on for comments or other features in Review Balloons?

i have word 2007 and have changed the review markup to final copy. i have
saved the file. when i reopen the file the shaded grey area to the left of
my document reappears. is there a default or command that i can institute to
eliminate the shaded area and not have it reappear after i saved the file.
