Default How do I sort My Document into alphabetical order?

Thank you, thank you, thank you. That was driving me crazy! My OS window
lists files A-Z, my Word window listed files Z-A. Every once in a while (over
the past 3 years) I would poke around on my computer and in help files to try
to figure out how to make the lists match; right-clicking in the file open
window and selecting Arrange ... by name did the trick. Finally. I feel so
organized now, I'm sure my productivity will increase 100-fold. ;-)

Or just right click in the file open window and select 'Arrange Icons by
name'

While you are in your folder, look across the top for an Icon called
Views. Select Details. You will get bars across the top of your
folder one of which is Name. Click once on Name to sort Ascending,
click again to sort in descending order. Once you have your documents
sorted, you can change your view back to either icons or list or
whatever.
