Default Clicking under a table to obtain cursor

Suzanne,

You were exactly right. I hade to have it wrap; but I didn't know I had to
turn it off when finished. As for having the nonprinting characters
displayed, are you referring to that button on the toolbar that has an icon
of a paragraph symbol? Thank you for your help.

You've probably inadvertently nudged your table, resulting in its being
wrapped. Go to the Table tab of Table Properties and make sure text
wrapping
is set to None. Also, you'll find that this sort of problem is a lot
easier
to troubleshoot if you have nonprinting characters displayed.

Hello,

I have a chart and and table on a page in Word. I'm trying to click under
the table so I can type in my results. However, everytime I try to click
under the table the cursor bounces up to the top of the page, on the left
side of the chart. I tried to arrow down past everything; however, the
cursor stops in the lowest cell of the table. If from here I type return,
the lowest row of the table just keeps growing, without letting me
outside
of it. Any suggestions?

John
