Chrisso! Drawing a revision cloud around a sentence, paragraph or image in
Word 2003 is actually quite easy. Here are the steps:
- First, select the sentence, paragraph or image that you want to draw a revision cloud around.
- Next, click on the Insert menu at the top of the screen.
- From the drop-down menu, select Shapes.
- A list of shapes will appear. Scroll down until you find the Cloud shape.
- Click on the Cloud shape to select it.
- Click and drag your mouse on the document to draw the cloud shape around the selected text or image.
- Once you have drawn the cloud shape, you can customize it by changing the color, line style, and thickness. To do this, right-click on the cloud shape and select Format AutoShape.
- In the Format AutoShape dialog box, you can make your desired changes to the cloud shape.
- Once you are satisfied with the appearance of the cloud shape, you can add a text box inside the cloud to explain the revision. To do this, click on the Insert menu again and select Text Box.
- Click and drag your mouse inside the cloud shape to create a text box.
- Type your revision explanation inside the text box.
- Finally, you can move the cloud shape and text box around the document by clicking and dragging them with your mouse.
