Default Help. I just updated to word 97 cannot "select all" or "edit"

Do you really mean Word 97, or do you mean Word 2007?

Most of the commands in the Edit menu in Word 2003 and earlier can be
found in Word 2007 by clicking on the Home tab | Editing. Ctrl+A is the
keyboard shortcut for Select All in all Word versions. The Edit |
Select All command in Word 2003 and earlier can be found in Word 2007 by
clicking on Home tab | Editing | Select All.

Most of the commands in the Format | Font menu in Word 2003 and earlier
can be found in Word 2007 by clicking on the Home tab | Font.

Most of the commands in the Format | Paragraph, or Format | Bullets and
Numbering, or Format | Borders and Shading menus in Word 2003 and
earlier can be found in Word 2007 by clicking on the Home tab | Paragraph.

I am trying my first word 97 doc. I cannot select all to change all the
fonts. I cannot hit "edit" and change things. This is driving me crazy. It
seems less user friendly than previous versions I've hit everything on every
tool bar and no luck.
