Default How do you remove lines in a table?

You can remove borders selectively using Format | Borders and Shading or the
Borders toolbar palette. Select the cell(s) from which you wish to remove a
border and then click on the button (or portion of the preview)
corresponding to the border in question (Bottom, Top, etc.).

If you want to remove the actual division between cells, select the cells,
right-click, and choose Merge Cells.
