If you are getting this instead of a basic blank document then you need to
close Word, find and delete normal.dot


I think if you are telling someone to delete their normal.dot file,
you should warn them that they will lose all their customization,
macros, autotext, etc. Backing up normal.dot first, or renaming it,
is a safer route to take. Much can be recovered from a corrupted
normal.dot.
