You haven't given enough information to get a real how-to, but a few
important points:
Header/footers are best manipulated by using View | Header/Footer and the
Header/Footer toolbar. Avoid using Insert | Page Numbers--use the icons on
the h/f toolbar instead.
By default, headers/footers are linked to the previous section. If you need
different text in each one, you need to unlink them. Use the icon on the
h/f toolbar.
If the section name that you want in the header/footer is *also* in the
text, you can use a StyleRef field to change the name in each header/footer,
instead of unlinking the sections and setting each h/f up separately.
