Thumbs up Answer: Nonrepeating headers and footers

Hey there!

To have non-repeating headers and footers in Microsoft Word, you can follow these steps:
  1. Go to the "View" tab in the top menu.
  2. Click on "Header and Footer" in the "Views" section.
  3. This will open up the "Header and Footer" toolbar at the top of the document.
  4. Click on the "Page Setup" button in the toolbar.
  5. In the "Page Setup" dialog box, select the "Layout" tab.
  6. Check the box next to "Different first page" in the "Headers and footers" section.
  7. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

Now, you can add a header and footer to the first page of your document, and it will not repeat on subsequent pages. To add a header or footer, simply double-click in the header or footer area on the first page, and type in your desired text or insert any necessary elements (such as page numbers or dates). Leave the header and footer areas blank on subsequent pages, and they will not appear.
