Default Extra Paragraph Return in footer After Page Number

FWIW, the same thing happens if you paste text into a footer (or header).

The best way to handle this is to set up a template with the desired footer

For Word 2007 (& Vista Windows)...

When using Page Number Galleries (as well as Header & Footer Galleries in

We will be pushing Office 2007 out soon and I know our users will complain
over this seemingly simplistic problem, as the extra paragraph return will

Thanks for any advice.
