Well, first of all, you should be using a hanging indent instead of tabbing
at the beginning of a runover line. But, assuming this is Word 2002 or 2003,
clear the check box for "Set first- and left-indent with tabs and
backspaces" on the AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools | AutoCorrect
Options.

I am attempting to create a lesson plan for my class. Here's my scenario:
I
type the time the activity will start, then press tab, type the name of
the
activity, then press tab, and then type in the description of the
activity.
The description is long and spills over into the next line. I want to
align
the start of the second line with where the description started on line 1,
but when I put the cursor at the start of line two and press tab the first
line tabs, too. Can I stop this? Thanks for any help.
