Default Formatting Vitamins Subscript

I tried that, but the section to click in the circle for "formatted text" in
grayed out and not available.

You can create an AutoCorrect entry for this. Type B12 and subscript the 12,
then select what you just typed and open Tools | AutoCorrect Options. The
text should already be in the "With" box. Make sure that the radio button
for "Formatted text" is selected. Then type B12 in the "Replace" box and
click Add.

I have no patience today. Could some brilliant mind out there help me with
formatting an auto correct entry in Word. I want to be able to type " B12

"
and have it appear as "B" and "12 in subscript", if that makes sense! I've
spent an hour on looking for the answer and am running out of time to get

my
report completed today. It has to be an auto correct as I type entry, not

one
I format on the go. Thanks if you can!!!!
